Training the AI

The AI character answers based on two things: your "business description" and your "FAQ" (both on the "Learn" page). The more complete these are, the more accurately it can answer visitors' questions.

Option 1: Enter it by hand

For the business description, you can simply paste in text from your company brochure or About page. Aim for around 2,000–3,000 characters, up to a maximum of 8,000. The AI treats what's written here as its primary source of truth.

The FAQ lets you add "question and answer" pairs one at a time, for anything the business description doesn't cover. There's no limit to how many you can add.

Option 2: Let it learn your site automatically (recommended)

From "Create an AI draft (auto-learn the site)" at the top of the "Learn" page, AI-navi will read the site registered as your allowed domain and draft a business description and FAQ for you.

  1. Click "🔍 Learn the site" and AI-navi will automatically discover the pages on your site.
  2. What happens next depends on how many pages are found.

    50 pages or fewer

All pages found are read in as-is and a draft is created automatically. No further action is needed.

    More than 50 pages

You'll see a list of the pages found (with titles), and can check up to 50 of them to learn from. Only the checked pages are then read in to create the draft.

  3. Once the draft is ready, the business description (text) and FAQ (question/answer pairs, up to around 20) appear right there. You can freely edit the text, and uncheck any FAQ entries you don't want.
  4. Nothing is reflected in the AI's actual answers until you click "✅ Use this as training data." Always review the content before publishing it.

Option 3: Whole-site learning (RAG — included in every plan)

"Whole-site learning (RAG)" on the "Learn" page reads every page of your site and, for each question, looks up only the relevant passages to use in the answer. This lets the AI answer detailed questions (about specific products, facilities, articles, etc.) that aren't covered in your business description or FAQ.

This works well combined with Option 2 — use Option 2 to summarize the key points as your business description and FAQ, then use Option 3 to fill in the details.

Please note
Text the AI generates automatically can occasionally include inaccuracies (for example, mentioning a plan that doesn't exist). Please always review and correct it before publishing.
For sites that render content dynamically with JavaScript (SPAs), the page text may not always be read correctly. If that happens, please enter the content by hand instead.
